Blurred lettering
Problem:
Your website visitors complain that the lettering of the navigation elements is blurred and has coloured edges. You cannot reproduce this effect on your system, not even with the published site.
Solution:
You may use Windows XP as the operating system and activated anti-aliasing with ClearType. This technology improves the readability of fonts on LCD-displays. However, on CRT displays, this will cause blurred lettering.
Unfortunately, ClearType may also affect fonts in graphical elements which are created by web to date. In this case, we recommend to deactivate the anti-aliasing function (when using Windows XP) or to use the standard mode.
